Drainage / Why we drill

Most drainage contractors have to guess.

That isn't a knock on them. Without a drill rig, a guess is all they have.

Advance Drainage Services is a DBA of Advance Drill Technologies, Inc., a licensed Washington well construction contractor. Wade has 30 years in groundwater work, eight of them running Advance Drill. Our main work has been drilling and logging the ground across Western Washington: geotechnical borings for engineering firms deciding whether a site can be built on, and monitoring wells for environmental consultants.

Those clients won't accept opinions about soil. They want it logged, sealed, reported and on file. We hold your drainage job to the same standard.

Meet Wade

Wade grew up in North Dakota, where hard work isn't a slogan. It's just how you're raised. For over thirty years, he's been protecting what matters most underground, building resource protection and monitoring wells across the region. Now he's bringing that same care closer to home, helping homeowners deal with standing water, wet crawlspaces and French drains that have quit working.

Wade's the kind of guy who can figure out just about anything, and when he gives you his word, he stands by it. No shortcuts, no excuses. Just honest work, done right.

What that changes on an ordinary job

Dry wells that work

We can check whether the soil will take water before we install something that depends on it.

The right depth

We set the drain depth from where the water is actually moving, not from a standard drawing.

Fewer second visits

Most repeat drainage jobs happen because the first system was built for the wrong ground.

A written record

A record of what's under your property. It's useful when you sell, useful to an insurer, and useful the next time anyone digs.
