When you're standing in water.
The ground around here doesn't let water through, so it sits in your yard or runs toward your house. We're a drilling company. We find out what your ground is doing, then fix it.

Standing water in the yard
The rain stopped days ago and the water is still there.
What causes it →Wet crawlspace
Damp, standing water, or a smell that comes back every winter.
What causes it →Water against the foundation
Seepage, white staining, or a wall that's always damp.
What causes it →Bluff and waterfront property
Runoff heading for the bank. If the slope is moving, we bring in an engineer.
What to do about it →Drainage that stopped working
It worked for a season or two, then quit.
Why it fails →Not sure which?
You don't need to work it out. Book a site assessment and we'll tell you.
Book a site assessment →Three steps, in writing
Tell us where the water is
Call or use the form. Photos taken during a storm help more than anything else.
We assess the site
We walk the property, check the soil and find where the water can legally go. Then we put it in writing.
We build what matches your ground
We install the system your soil will actually support. We restore the site and keep a record of what went in.
Before you call
What does a drainage fix cost?
It depends on what's causing the problem. Sometimes the fix is two downspouts and an afternoon. Sometimes it's a curtain drain across the whole uphill side of the property. That's why we assess first and put a price in writing before any work starts.
Why is my yard wet when the neighbour's isn't?
Hardpan isn't flat and it isn't the same depth everywhere. Water running along the top of it collects wherever it's shallowest or lowest. That can be your yard even when it isn't the lowest point on the street, and the water may be coming from a slope or driveway well above you.
Do I need a permit?
Sometimes. Work near a bluff, a shoreline or a wetland, or work that moves enough soil, can need county review. Where water can be sent is also regulated: you can't send it onto a neighbour's property. We check this during the assessment and tell you before we price the job.
Does a dry well need to be registered with the state?
A dry well that only takes roof runoff at a single-family home or duplex generally doesn't need registering with the Department of Ecology. Other uses can. Either way, a dry well only works if the ground below it takes water, and that's something we test rather than assume.
Do you do landscaping?
No. We don't do planting, hardscape or lawn care. We handle water management only, and we restore the ground we disturb.
