Drilling / How we work

How we work

The same sequence every time. It's how the logs stay consistent and the paperwork stays complete.

  1. Scope

You send the boring plan or well scope: locations, number of holes, target depths, sampling intervals and access notes.

  2. Bid and schedule

A firm price and a mobilisation date, with any access or depth concerns raised up front.

  3. Notices and locates

We file a notice of intent with the Department of Ecology at least 72 hours before we start, and call in utility locates ahead of mobilisation.

  4. Drill, sample, log

We sample to your specification and log in the field in your format. If ground conditions call for a change, you hear about it before the rig moves on.

  5. Complete or seal

Wells are finished and developed to spec. Borings are sealed. The surface is restored.

  6. Report

Well reports go to Ecology within 30 days of completion. Field logs and samples come to you on the agreed schedule.
